What's on Newcastle is a Community based Events Calendar, Forum and Social Networking Site. We hope to get people from all walks in life involved in creating a usable and interesting site which will make it easier to find things to do, or to promote events in Newcastle and the Hunter.

As well as Events and "What's On" information, we'd like to get your opinion on local issues; Newcastle does not have an independent online voice, and it seems that too often agendas are set by special interest groups, the council or the existing media - if you have time, please leave your comments under each story.
